I was born again on September 15, 1975. One of my favorite scripture passages is Romans 6:20-21: "In those days, when you were slaves of sin, you weren't concerned with doing right. And what was the result? It was not good, since now you are ashamed of the things you used to do, things that end in eternal doom. But now you are free from the power of sin and have become the slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." It is true that I am ashamed of the things I used to do. However, if it will help anyone by reading about what a wreck I was and how God reached down and rescued me, then it is worth it to me.

If you are searching for God and ask the Lord Jesus to show you if He is real, He will because He is alive. Jesus Christ has risen from the dead. All the other religious prophets are still in their tombs.

If you want Jesus, come to Him as a little child and ask him to forgive your sins. Romans 3:23 says, "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Jesus died on the cross to forgive us. Romans 5:10 says we are "reconciled to God by the death of His Son."

Then invite Jesus to live in you. He died to forgive your sins, and rose from the dead to come and work in your life. Romans 10:9 says, "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved."

If you ask Jesus into your heart, your life will be transformed into something wonderful. I pray this seed will be planted in the soil of your heart, and will sprout to give you eternal life. God bless you.
